Mermaid mother and her son, I always wanted to draw a baby mermaid/merboy, but I'm so shitty at it xD I had to use ref for the baby pose, I'm so lame :'D

There's nothing lame at all about it, you just ended up using the old, popular style of face for your mer-boy. You do your tails very confidently, and there is a lot of simple, polished joy in this image.
